The Yankees whooped up on the Twins tonight. I feel a little bit better. Not much. Just a little bit.....C. C. Sabathia pitched a great game, save for three consecutive hits in the 3nd inning. The Yankees came right back and it wasn't much of a game from then on. Matsui had a big HR that put the game away early.
All-World Joe Mauer knocked in a run for the Twins. Here's his 2008 card. I'll be glad to see him sign with the Yankees when Posada retires.....
