After years of getting screwed by card companies, coupled with a background in desktop publishing, I awoke one morning with the bright idea of designing my own cards. For your viewing pleasure, here they are!
Some great pics coming out of Spring Training so far.
Nothing much else to add tonight. Daylight Savings Time sucks. I'm sleepy, and I had a nice nap today during the Star Wars prequel trilogy on Spike this afternoon. Damn do those flicks suck.....
I went to college with Dan Uggla. I don't remember ever seeing him on campus and I'm sure he can say the same for me. I also went to college with Mike Sweeney. I just missed by one year of going to college with Mike Bordick. I went to college for a long time.
Great photo of Tim Beckham, taken from yahoo. Get it? The Rays?
Aaron is supposed to be a big up and comer in the Royals system. He could be a big up and comer on my fantasy team's minor league roster by this time Sunday.
Today's three pack includes fellow Arkansan Cliff Lee. I'm just glad he's no longer with the Tribe so I can root for him to do well.
Also Juan Castro, who I've got on the minor league roster of my fantasy team. I have hopes for big things from him in 2010.
And then there's Joe Nathan. That bastard has owned the Tigers. I don't wish for anybody to get hurt, but I can wish for somebody to take the whole season off to get better.....
I think for now I'm going to try and get 2-3 cards per day posted so that I'll at least have one of each team up by Opening Day. I'll be glad to take requests once the season starts and photos are a little easier to come by.
I've also got a couple of other sets planned that I'll mix in once the season starts.
Collector of cardboard, vintage 80's music, and fitted Tigers caps that no longer fit. Back in Tennessee again, by way of Arkansas, California, Florida, Spain, Florida again, Michigan, Maine, Tennessee, North Carolina, Tennessee again, Mississippi, Tennessee again, Illinois, Florida again, Tennessee again, Florida again, California again, and finally Tennessee (again). Winner of the 2020 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and some day third baseman for the Harry Chiti All-Stars. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's me!
